/h;
• The maximum head is 42.5 m;
• The conveying medium must be clean, free of solids or grinding particles, non-viscous, non-aggressi-
ve, non-crystallized and chemically neutral, similar to the properties of water;
• The Conel Stream is designed for operation with an electrical supply voltage of 230V / 50Hz.
• The Conel Stream may be operated with a maximum of 20 evenly distributed starts and stops per
hour, at 60 seconds on/off time;
• In order to reduce pressure shocks in the piping system and to reduce unnecessary start/stop of the
Conel Stream, we generally recommend the use of a membrane expansion vessel in the pressure
line system – relieves the entire piping system and increases the service life of all components and
components used throughout the installation;
• The Conel Stream is suitable for continuous operation (S1);
•
The Conel Stream is intended exclusively for wall mounting (on a fl at wall with suffi cient distance
from the ceiling of the room) – no fl oor installation.
• The installation and operation of the Conel Stream must be carried out in a dry frost-free room, this
room must additionally have a fl oor drain.
•
In order to connect the integrated emergency overfl ow device on the Conel Stream, a proper and
professional drain to the public sewer network / lifting system must be ensured.
1.4.2.1 Reasonably predictable misuseen
the Conel Stream is not suitable for the following applications:
• for the fending of liquids that are not compatible with the construction materials (e.g., toxic, explosi-
ve, fl ammable or corrosive liquids);
• for the conveying of polluted or water contaminated with wastewater;
•
for applications with hazardous liquids (e.g., toxic, explosive, fl ammable or corrosive fl uids);
•
for applications with liquids containing abrasive substances, solids or fi bers — (use pipeline fi lters if
necessary);
• for an operation outside the nominal values of the throughput indicated in the data sheet;
• for assembly and operation outside the nominal values described in this original operating manual.
1.4.2.2 Examples of improper installations
• Environments with explosive or corrosive conditions;
•
In installations where no continuous water infl ow is guaranteed and the Conel Stream runs the risk
of running dry;
• Without protection from weather conditions (e.g., high temperatures, rain or frost);
• installations in which leaks and loose pipe connections are located in the Conel Stream or in the
entire piping system;
• Operation outside the said electrical mains voltage of 230V/50Hz;
• Operation outside the permitted pre-pressure limits of drinking water resupply;
• Operation outside the pump characteristic of the centrifugal pump used.
Attention:
•
Do not use Conel Stream to convey fl ammable or explosive liquids.
• Improper use can lead to hazardous situations and cause personal injury and
property damage.
• In addition, the improper use of the product leads to the forfeiture of the warranty
claim.
