AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Water consumption is constantly monitored. If during drawing of water one of these limits is exceeded, the
leak protection system shut-off valve closes. The closed shut-off valve is shown in the operating indication
of the display.
Intentional limit value exceeding: If the shut-off valve is closed after exceeding of the “Max. water volume”
limit or “Max drawing time”, then the leak protection system opens its shut-off valve after 30 s to perform
a volume flow rate check:
/ If the volume flow rate check reveals a reduction (drawing point has been closed), then the shut-off
valve remains open. The water drawing measured values are reset.
/ If the volume flow rate check does not reveal any reduction, then the leak protection system immedi-
ately closes its shut-off valve. The shut-off valve remains closed.

If a water softening system is fitted, then the max. drawing time must be set to at
least the regeneration time.
The automatic opening and checking of the volume flow rate after shutting of the
shut-off valve enables the resetting of the closing action without manual opera-
tion of the keypad. It must solely be ensured that, after automatic closing of the
leak protection system, the drawing point remains closed for longer that 30 s. The
intelligence of the control system then recognizes in this that users are at home
and have intentionally drawn the too large water volume.
After closing of the leak protection due to

a check must then be performed to determine if there is a leak in the water pipe
system.
