Installing the PE rail connector

Steps:
Push a PE rail connector (1) onto the left profile of the expansion element (3) or in the ProfiDAT
®
-Profil as in Fig. 26.
The center of the rail connector is marked with a notch (K).
Always use a PE connector on both sides of the expansion element!
Fasten the PE rail connector (1) with the two threaded pins (2).
Push the next ProfiDAT
®
profile (4) into the rail holder and push it into the rail connector (1) until it reaches the center.
ATTENTION!
Both profiles must be directly next to one another. The gap must be no more than 0.5 mm wide!
The sliding surfaces for the carbon brushes must be aligned level with one another and be free
of burrs.
Fasten the ProfiDAT
®
profile (4) to the the rail connector (1) with the two set screws (2).
Tighten the four lateral flange screws (5) with locking edge washer (6) on the connector (see Fig. 27).
Observe the tightening torques for flange screws (5) and set screws (2):
Wrench (5): 20 Nm
Hex key (2): 8 Nm
