Configuration Using the Web User Interface

Secure Web User Interface

The WR7802-XT web user interface also provides secured management through an HTTPS login so that all of
the configuration commands are secure.

If you did not program the IP address for your network using PortVision DX (

Configuring the Network

Settings

on Page 21), you need to change your computer IP address to

192.168.250.x

(Network Mask:

255.255.255.0). The default IP address for the WR7802-XT is

192.168.250.250

Open a command prompt window and ping the IP address for the WR7802-XT to verify a normal response
time.

Launch the web browser and type

https://192.168.250.250

(or the IP address of the WR7802-XT).and then

press

Enter

Expand the
