Congratulations on your purchase of this baby monitor model CT-2100. Please
read through this manual carefully before operating and keep it in a safe place for
future reference.
This baby monitor is not only an ideal device that allows you to hear your baby
wherever you are (e.g. in the garden, on the terrace etc.), but it can also be used
for monitoring the elderly etc. This wireless device is compact in size and
equipped with combined-code technology. Please note that the operation
distance is as far as approximately 600 meters open area in optimal conditions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To improve unintended power down due to exhausted battery and to protect the
environment, the manufacturer strongly encourages users to use AC Adaptor with
both TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER. Moreover, both Transmission and
Reception can be improved. Make sure your local power supply voltage
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the devices / AC adaptors.
To avoid your baby playing with the buttons, which control the operation of
TRANSMITTER, always place TRANSMITTER out of reach of your baby
(minimum distance one meter). Make sure both TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER
are functioning properly and are within operating range.
During continuous operation, the set is constantly ready for reception, which
means that the battery consumption is higher. We recommend you to use the AC
Adaptor when operating COMTEL CT-2100™ continuously. Please do NOT
operate this unit with other types of AC adaptor except for the ones provided
together with baby monitor.
This baby monitor is designed only to monitor the sound of child. It should not be
considered as a substitute for parent’s supervision. Neither is it designed to be
used as a medical monitor.
