ACom6

ACom-Interfaces

On this tab, you are setting the parameters for the interfaces 

COM1 

and 

COM2 

of the

ACom.

Adapt the interface parameters to the connected devices. Information on how to pro-
ceed is contained in the documentation delivered with the devices in question.

• Select the required parameters from the list boxes.

• Click the control box if you want to switch the interfaces.

Datamode

You can set different modes for the purposes of serial data communication. The mode

Transparent 1

 is suitable for the control of appliances connected to the interface COM2

such as PTL or dome cameras. If you select the mode 

Transparent 2

, the binary data of

the remote ACom will be transmitted via the interface COM1 alongside the control com-
mands.

• Select the required option by clicking the respective field.
