Setting Up the Monitor

 

To set up the monitor, ensure that the power is turned off 
to the monitor, computer system, and other attached 
devices, then follow these steps: 

 

This monitor has multiple connectors on the back panel 
that can be used to connect two computers 
simultaneously to the monitor. Be sure the Video 
Channel Select button on the front of the monitor is set 
to the correct position to receive signals from the 
connected computer. See the Front Panel Controls table 
for more information. 

 

1.  Place the monitor in a convenient, well-ventilated 

location near your computer. 

2.  Connect the signal and AC power cables to the 

monitor

the Signal Cables,” for additional information. 

3.  Connect the monitor signal cable

 to the 

appropriate video connector on the rear panel of the 
computer. 

4.  Connect the AC end of the power cable

 to AC 

receptacle on the monitor. 

5.  Connect the power cable

 to an electrical wall outlet.
