Minimum Hardware Configuration

Make sure that your server meets the requirements for minimum hardware
configuration. During the troubleshooting process, it may be necessary to
reduce your system to its minimum configuration, reinstalling options one at a
time to determine the cause of failure.

Processors

A processor must be installed in a processor socket.

Server Feature
Board

The Server Feature Board is installed in a dedicated expansion slot.

Fans

A system fan must be installed and connected to the system board.

Memory

At least one slot must be populated with an ECC 133-MHz Registered
SDRAM DIMM.

PPM

A PPM must be inserted into the PPM slot.
