Battery-Backed Write Cache Enabler

The Battery-Backed Write Cache Enabler provides the system with a means for
storing and saving data in the event of an unexpected system shutdown.

To install the Battery-Backed Write Cache Enabler:

Access the internal server blade components. Refer to the “Preparation
Procedures” section in this chapter.

Install the Battery-Backed Write Cache Enabler on the brass standoffs on the
NIC module. Be sure the enabler seats firmly.
