Compliance with CDRH Regulations
The Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration implemented regulations for laser products on August 2, 1976. These
regulations apply to laser products manufactured from August 1, 1976. Compliance is
mandatory for products marketed in the United States.
Compliance with International Regulations
All systems equipped with laser devices comply with appropriate safety standards
including IEC 825.
Battery Replacement Notice
The computer is equipped with a lithium manganese dioxide, a vanadium pentoxide,
or an alkaline internal battery or battery pack. There is a danger of explosion and risk
of personal injury if the battery is incorrectly replaced or mistreated. Replacement is
to be done by an authorized service provider using the spare designated for this
product. For more information about battery replacement or proper disposal, contact
an authorized reseller or an authorized service provider.
WARNING: The computer contains an internal lithium manganese dioxide, a
vanadium pentoxide, or an alkaline
battery pack. There is risk of fire and burns
if the battery pack is not properly handled. To reduce the risk of personal
injury:

Do not attempt to recharge the battery
•
Do not expose to temperatures higher than 60°C (140°F).
•
Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose of
in fire or water.
•
Replace only with the spare designated for this product.
Batteries, battery packs, and accumulators should not be disposed of
together with the general household waste. To forward them to recycling or
proper disposal, please use the public collection system or return them to
HP, authorized HP partners, or their agents.
