Chapter 5

Using the gateway Web Manager

Use the SVG2482AC Web Manager to view and monitor the network configuration

settings and operational status of your SVG2482AC. You can also configure your network

connections and Wi-Fi security settings. See for more information.

Start the SVG2482AC Web Manager

Perform the following steps to open the SVG2482AC Web Manager:
1. Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) on

the device connected to the SVG2482AC.

2. Type the XFINITY default LAN IP address,

10.0.0.1

, in the Address bar and then press

Enter to log onto the SVG2482AC and open the SVG2482AC Login screen.

3. Type the default user name and password. Both entries are case-sensitive.

You must enter the default user name and password if you are logging
