Registration information
he SS900 has been registered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It
eets FCC requirements and may be connected directly to your telephone line. On the
ottom of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information, the FCC
gistration number and Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) for this equipment. If
quested, this information must be provided to the telephone company. Use the REN to
lp determine the maximum number of devices you can connect to your telephone without
iminating their ability to ring when your number is called. In many areas, the sum of the
ENs of all devices connected to one line should not exceed 5.0. To determine how many
vices you can connect to your line, contact your local telephone company to find out the
aximum REN for your area.
he SS900 may not be connected to a party line or coin line telephone network. If the
S900 does not function properly, disconnect the unit. Follow the instructions provided in
e section "One year limited warranty" to obtain the necessary repair service.
the SS900 causes harm to the network, the telephone company may discontinue your
