How To: Modify EDID
DaisyNET II
If you are having trouble with EDID handling, there is a way to modify
the settings of DaisyNET II.
This guide will show you how to modify the EDID settings within
DaisyNET II devices.
System Setup
Preperation
Set the Rotary DIP Switch on all your DaisyNET II devices to Pos. 9
Do not change this setting back to another number, otherwise you will erase your settings immediately.
Step 1: Read the EDID information from a connected Display
1.
Open the webinterface of the DaisyNET II where the
Display is connected, here it is 192.168.1.122
Default password is:
admin
Go to
Configuration / Video
Klick on EDID Read:
Open Dialog

Select the Video out Port from which you would like to capture the
EDID Information. Typically it is HDMI.
3.
A dialog box opens to save the EDID information in a edid.bin file. Save
this
