Radio outputs
RF output programming essentially follows the same operating procedure as zone programming. The output device number must
be set at the start. After which, the acquisition procedure can begin. Once the output device has been acquired, a description of
the output and a type of output can be entered.
As far as output programming is concerned, radio acquisition and code acquisition methods are available. Refer to zone
programming and the product specifications for further details regarding these methods.
Register outputs (sounders)
• Select output no.
This menu entry is used to select the device acquisition position. The number can be entered directly using the keypad, or
it can be selected using the arrows. The system will always suggest the first available position with a logic of filling available
spaces.
◊ Output ID acquisition
If you press “Enter” after selecting the output number, the system waits for acquisition of the device with the output
number flashing. The installer can at this point register the sounder or enter the ID code for the device. See appendix
“A”. If no devices are detected or no code is entered within 60 seconds, the error message “Retry?” will appear. The
60-second timer is deactivated as soon as a number key (0-9) on the number keypad is pressed to enter the ID code.
After registration has taken place properly, the system automatically moves on to the next step “Description”.
◊ Output description
This menu entry is used to enter a description for the acquired output device.
◊ Output type
The type of output that should be associated with the acquired output device is set in this menu. The table below lists
the available options. Depending on the option selected, additional attributes can be set on the next menu entry. For
example, the roller shutter outputs require the setting of a time parameter as the output activation time. If the devices
acquired are internal or external sounders, no choices can be made and the output type is set by default as indoor or
external sounder depending on the device.
