WORK
ATTENTION:
do not use the starter for more than 5 seconds
at a time. If the engine does not start up, release the key and
wait for 10 seconds before making a new attempt. If the
electric starter is used for more than 5 seconds at a time, it
overheats and may become damaged.
ATTENTION:
to cold-start the engine, bring the air command
lever (6) to “CLOSED”, moving it in the direction shown by
the arrow (
Fig.5
).
6. When the engine starts up, release the engine switch and let it
return to ON.
7. Bring the command lever for the endothermic engine (1) rpm to
its maximum - gradually shift the lever in the direction shown by
the arrow (
Fig.6
).
ATTENTION:
if the air command lever (6) was used to
cold-start the engine, gradually move it in the direction
shown by the arrow until it reaches the “OPEN” position
(
Fig.7
).
8. When the endothermic engine is running at full speed, you will
see the “work” screen on the display; it shows the total operating
time (
Fig.8
).
ATTENTION:
the bottom line shows the hours and minutes
of operation. The flashing “:” symbol Indicates that the hour
meter is counting the machine functioning time.
After switching on the machine, proceed as follows:
1. Select the required working program using the i-drive device (1)
(
Fig.1
).
The programs that can be selected are (
Fig.2
):
A. Transfer: movement of the machine without working.
B. Drying: using the squeegee only.
C. Scrubbing with Drying: using both the brushes and the
squeegee.
The drying without scrubbing operation
should only be carried out if the device was
used beforehand to carry out a scrubbing
without drying operation.
D. Scrubbing only using only the brushes in the brush head.
7.
Open the detergent solution flow in the machine water system
by turning the tap command lever (2) in the direction shown by
the arrow (
Fig.3
).
ATTENTION:
if you need to adjust the detergent solution
flow while you are working, refer to “
8. Select the speed level (e.g. “step-01”) by turning the knob (3) on
the control panel (
Fig.4
).
ATTENTION:
if you need to adjust the forward speed while
you are working, refer to “
WORK
ATTENTION:
adjust the forward speed to suit the adhesion
conditions.
9. Select “forward movement” by shifting the direction lever (4) in
the direction shown by the arrow (
Fig.5
).
10. Release the parking brake by moving the parking brake lever (5)
(at the side of the operator seat) in the direction shown by the
arrow (
Fig.6
).
ATTENTION:
the indicator light (6) relating to the engaged
parking brake will be deactivated on the control panel
(
Fig.7
).
11. Press the drive pedal (7) to begin moving the machine (
Fig.8
).
If the program selected is “SCRUBBING WITH DRYING”, the
squeegee and brush head will lower until they touch the floor. As
soon as the drive pedal is pressed, the traction motor, brush head
motor and vacuum motor will start working. As a result, the solenoid
valve will also be activated and detergent solution will be dispensed
onto the brushes. During the first few metres, check that there is
sufficient solution and that the squeegee is drying correctly.
The machine will now begin to work with full efficiency until the
battery is flat or until the detergent solution has finished.
