Dust extraction
Dust from materials like lead paints, some wood
types and metals may be hazardous to your health.
Skin contact or inhala琀椀on of that dust may result in
allergic reac琀椀ons and/or respiratory illness of the
operator or other personnel in the vicinity.
Speci昀椀c types of dust (e.g. oak or beech wood) are
carcinogenic, speci昀椀cally in conjunc琀椀on with ad
-
di琀椀ves for wood treatment (chromate, wood pre
-
serva琀椀ve). Materials containing asbestos must only
be processed by specialists.
Always use a dust extractor when processing min
-
eral substances (昀椀lter class "M").
For best results, use the recommended Collomix
high-performance dust extractor with this power
tool. This extractor with 昀椀lter class "M" is cer琀椀昀椀ed
for the extrac琀椀on of 昀椀ne par琀椀culate.
Ensure su昀케cient ven琀椀la琀椀on of the work area.
The use of a respiratory protec琀椀on mask with 昀椀lter
class P2 is recommended.
Connec琀椀on:
Create an air-琀椀ght connec琀椀on between the extrac
-
琀椀on hose of the extractor with Ø 35 mm and the
extractor connector on the protec琀椀ve hood.
Comply with the following instruc琀椀ons when
working with the dust extractor:
Only work with the product combina琀椀on of power
tool and speci昀椀ed diamond cup disk recommend
-
ed by Collomix, and the Collomix extractor of class
"M". This will guarantee op琀椀mised dust extrac琀椀on
and work process.
Read the separate opera琀椀ng manual for the extrac
-
tor, and take par琀椀cular note of the cleaning, main
-
tenance and 昀椀lter replacement instruc琀椀ons.
Ensure to empty the dust extractor regularly. Use
the s琀椀pulated plas琀椀c dust bags to prevent the dust
from entering the environment.
Always wear hearing protec琀椀on, protec琀椀ve gog
-
gles, dust mask and protec琀椀ve gloves while work
-
ing.
Note mains voltage speci昀椀ca琀椀on!
The volt

age data provided on the type plate must match
the voltage of the power source. 230 V devices can
be operated with 220 V or 240 V power sources.
