8.4 Making ATEX-compliant ground connections

To dissipate static charge, the housing and support of the fan are connected to
the protective earthing connection in the terminal box via the grounding cable
(see detailed view).
The cross section of the grounding cable must be at least 10 mm
2
.
These grounding connections on the fan are installed by the manufacturer or
distributor before delivery.

• Cable lengths
• Rated current
• Environmental conditions
• Type of installation
