CSL software installation 

For the PXIe controller to communicate with the BERTPXIe modules in the chassis, you must 

install all the software packages that are contained in a single CSL software installer. 

 

I

MPORTANT

 

The software must be installed on the PXIe controller for the PXIe chassis 

in which the CSL modules are installed. 

 

Software components 

The CSL software installer contains the following software packages: 

•

 

CSL driver installer: Drivers for Coherent Solutions PXIe modules 

•

 

CSL server: VXI11 server for remote communication 

•

 

cohesionUI: Web-based application for managing the PXIe modules 

 

Operating system requirements 

64-bit Windows operating systems are required. 

Minimum requirements 

•

 

64-bit Windows 7 

Recommended requirements 

•

 

64-bit Windows 10 

 

Installation procedure 

The installation may require a system reboot to complete. Save all your work and close any 

open programs before installing the required software packages.

Locate and run the installer 

CSLSoftwareInstaller-1.X.X.exe

 on the provided 

USB media drive. The installer is available for download from the Coherent Solutions 
website (

www.coherent-solutions.com

) as well.

Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
