Problem encountered
Checks to carry out
The command unit's
screen does not
switch on.
Check that the power supply is connected to the appliance.
Press .
The ambient tempe-
rature is different
to the temperature
displayed on the
appliance.
You need to wait at least 6 hours for the temperature to stabilise.
Depending on your installation, you may note a different
temperature to the temperature displayed on the appliance
(
a difference of 0.5° C is normal
). In this case, refer to the
"T° calibration" chapter in the "Expert Menu".
The appliance does
not heat up.
Check that the appliance is in Comfort mode.
If you are in programming mode, check that you are in a Comfort
time window. Make sure that the installation's circuit breakers are
activated or that the load shedder (
if you have one
) has not shut
the appliance down. Check the air temperature in the room: if it is
too high, the appliance will not heat up.
The appliance heats
up all the time.
Check that the appliance is not sitting in a draft (
door open nearby,
cold air intake through the connection unit at the back of the appliance
)
or that the temperature setting has not been modified.
There may be an issue with the electricity network. If there is a
problem (
thermostat blocked, etc.
), switch off the power supply to
the appliance (
fuse, circuit breaker
) for around 10 minutes, then
switch it back on.
If the problem occurs frequently, have the power supply checked
by your electrician.
The appliance does
not heat up enough.
Increase the temperature by pressing
.
If the temperature is set to maximum, carry out the following
checks:
- Check whether there is another heating method in the room.
- Make sure that your appliance is only heating up the room (
door
closed
).
- Have the appliance's power supply voltage checked.
- Check that your appliance's power is suitable for the size of
your room.
The appliance takes
time to heat up.
The electrical resistance heats up the fluid, which starts circulating
gradually and naturally inside the appliance.
The fluid's inertia properties mean that the appliance's surface
temperature only reaches an optimum level after at least
15 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature in the room
while the appliance heats up.
