3. Assembly of guide bar and saw chain
This box contains:
Saw body
Chain protection
Guide bar
Saw chain
Spark plug wrench
Screwdriver for
carburettor adjustment
Open the package and check that all the parts are included.
Assemble the guide bar and saw chain
Warning! The saw chain is very sharp. Use protective gloves while handling
the saw chain for safety.
1. Check that the chain brake handle is in rear position so that the chain brake
is not released.
2. Loosen both collar nuts which secure the chain sprocket cover.
3. Wrap the saw chain round the chain sprocket. Put the guide bar on the bar bolts and push
back the bar as far as it goes. Wrap the saw chain round the bar and adjust the chain
tightener so that the heel fits into the holes of the bar.

Note! Pay attention to assemble the
saw chain in the correct direction.
