last many years. Follow these instructions with care
in order to prevent damages.
Some discolouration will occur after use. This is nor-

Lighting
– Before use, spread out a 7-10 cm thick layer of
small stones, or dry, washed sand on the bottom
of the patio heater. Do not use garden soil, clay
or tile sand. This will protect the patio heater
from excess heat.
– Construct a pyramid of small pieces of wood on
the rack in the patio heater.
– Insert dry lighters into the pyramid.
– Light the dry lighters.
– When the pieces of wood are burning well, you
can add larger pieces of wood or briquettes.
Extinguishing
– Do not add any additional fuel and allow the fire
to burn itself out.
– In an emergency, use sand to extinguish.
Storage, disposal
Storage
– Occasionally change the sand in the bottom of
the patio heater. Make sure that no rain water
collects in the bottom of the patio heater. If you
live in a cold region in which water may freeze,
breaks may occur as a result.
– Cover the chimney with a cover to protect the
inside of the heater from rain.
– Cover the product with a tarpaulin to protect
from damp as soon as it has cooled down.
– The product may be left outdoors all year round.
