For your safety
General safety precautions
• The user of the device must have read and
understood these operating instructions
prior to its first use in order to safely imple-
ment this device.
•
Please comply with all safety instructions!
If
you disregard any of the safety precautions you
may place yourself and others at risk.
• The device may only be used when it func-
tions properly.
If the device or part of the device
is defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
• Individuals under the age of 18 and those not
familiar with the operation of the device
should not be allowed to operate the device.
• People who do not have the physical, mental
or sensory abilities to operate the tool care-
fully and safely may not be permitted to use it.
• Make sure you always wear the required per-
sonal protective clothing.
• Exercise caution and only work when in a
good condition: If you are tired, ill, if you have
ingested alcohol, medication or illegal drugs,
do not use the device as you are not in a con-
dition to use it safely.
• Always comply with the all applicable domes-
tic and international safety, health and work-
ing regulations.
Operation
•
Check the device prior to each use for visible
damage.
If the device or part of the device is
defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
• Operate the device on a safe and even sur-
face.
• When operating the device ensure that the
area you are working in is clean and tidy.
• Never operate the device in the rain or when
it is snowing.
• Avoid rotating, tilting or changing positions of
the unit when it is operating.
• The specified maximum loads may not be
exceeded.
Overloading will cause damage to
the device.
• Note: Electrical appliances, motorised jigsaws,
drills etc. have a higher voltage consumption
than the one specified on the manufacturer type
plate if they are operated under extreme condi-
tions.
• Ensure that there is sufficient illumination
when you are operating the device.
• Do not operate the device if there are people
in the hazard zone who are not wearing pro-
tective clothing.
• Please note the specific safety instructions of
the connected consumers.
Maintenance
• Only those maintenance and fault elimination
tasks described here may be carried out.
Any
other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
• Modifications, own changes to the device
and the use of unauthorised parts is prohib-
ited.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only
these replacement parts are designed and suita-
ble for the device. Other replacement parts will
not only lead to an invalidation of the guarantee
claims, they may also endanger you and your
environment.
• All maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by trained specialists.
• Cleaning work which generates waste water
containing oil (e.g. motor wash, under body
wash) may only be carried out at locations
with an oil extractor.
Device-specific notes
Risk of electric shock
• Never touch the device with wet hands, damp
clothing or damp gloves.
• Before each use, check the extension cord,
the power cord and all electrical appliances.
• Do not connect the device to the household
power supply.
This may cause damage to the
device or to other electrical appliances in the
house.
• Never connect defective consumers,
exposed cables or defective extension cords
to the device.
Naked flame is forbidden!
Always wear suitable ear defenders
when using the device.
