Boot
Derives from bootstrap. To start or restart a computer sys-
tem by reading instructions from a storage device into the
computers memory. If the computer is already turned on, its
a warm boot; if not, its a cold boot.

Cache memory
A small high-speed memory for the temporary storage of informa-
tion, usually used between a slower large memory and a fast
central processing unit.
