Install Corrugated Panels

CORRUGATED SIDE PANEL INSTALLATION

The instructions that follow describe how to install the
corrugated side panels of the greenhouse.

Side Panel (one panel): Use a 50" x 6' 1" panel (maximum
length) cut from a 50" x 146" corrugated panel.

Secure panels to the hat channel using FA4484B Tek

•

screws and neo-bonded washers (102921B).

When installed properly, the side panels (like the roof

•

panels) overlap each other by one (1) rib.

INSTALL CORRUGATED SIDE PANELS

Install all side panels with the ribs running vertically.

Measure the sidewall, take a 50" x 146" panel, and

1.

cut it to the required length.

NOTE:

Determine how you want to fit the panels to

the sidewall and cut panels accordingly:

Maximum

length–top to bottom–for a single sidewall panel is
6' 1"

.

If a baseboard has been installed, set the panel an
inch or so

above

ground level to protect the lower

edge of the panel.

Place the side panel against the sidewall hat channels

2.

over the installed corner trim and slide the panel up
until it meets the underside of the roof panel.

Align the

3.

center of the outer rib of the panel

 with the

center of the rafter leg or ground post. Outer rib should
align with the outer rib of the roof panels.

After squaring the panel on the frame, attach the

4.

panel to the hat channel

in the valleys

 using FA4484B

Tek screws and neo-bonded washers (102921B).

Space screws and washers at 6" intervals

NOTE:

DO NOT run Tek screws into the last valley

of the panel at this time. The next panel will overlap
the previous panel, which is the repeated pattern
throughout the length of the frame.

Frame length of your building may differ from what is shown.

Side Panels

Hat Channel

ATTENTION:

Side wall height may vary depending on the

site, ground post installation, or how mounting feet were
set on the site. When cutting the side panels,

do not cut

panels longer than 6' 1"

. Doing so will result in a shortage

of panels needed to cover the sidewalls.

All side panels

are cut from full 50" x 146" corrugated panels.

Overlap panels by one (1) rib as shown above.

Overlap

Valley for fastener.

No fastener in
this valley.
