3. The length of the brake cable may also
need to be adjusted. Loosen the lock
nut and adjust. Retighten the lock nut.
4. To adjust the distance of the brake
blocks from the rim, screw the adjustment
screw in/out until the brakes are
perfectly centred and balanced.
The brake blocks should be as close
to the rim as possible without touching.
5. To change a brake block, unscrew
the retaining nut and remove the brake
block. After installing a new brake block,
adjust the brake using the instructions above.
