Safety

•  Do not use the light in an environment where it could be 

exposed to gas, steam or dust.

•  Do not look directly into the light beam. It could damage 

your eyesight.

•  Only use the recommended type of rechargeable batteries.

•  This product must not be modified or adapted in any way.

•  Only let a qualified technician perform repairs, using only 

original spare parts.

•  Do not let children play with the product.

•  NEVER insert non-rechargeable batteries into the light.

Product description

Garden light with a solar cell which charges the battery 
during daytime. A sensor switches the light on automatically 
at dusk and off at dawn. Bright LED providing a strong glow. 
Comes with 1 × AA/HR6 NiMH 300 mAh rechargeable battery. 
Height above ground: 28 cm.

Changing batteries

The rechargeable battery will 
eventually need to be replaced. 
The battery compartment 
is located on the underside 
of the solar cell housing. 
Only an NiMH rechargeable 
battery should be used.
The useful life of the existing 
battery can be lengthened by 
removing it and recharging it in 
a separate charger at regular 
intervals.

Assembly

1.  Push the ground stake into the post.

2.  Push the plastic lens into the other end of the post.

3.  Remove the plastic battery tab.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the product using a soft damp cloth as and when required. 
Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local 
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your 
local authority.

4.  Refit the solar cell housing onto the lens by twisting it 

clockwise (fits only one way).
