Power Supply
Release the battery cover (7) on the back
by pushing it down and insert 2x LR03 bat-
teries. Be careful to fit the batteries according
to the markings on the bottom of the battery
compartment according to the markings on
the bottom of the battery compartment.
• Never mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, regular, and
rechargeable batteries.
• If the display (5) begins to blink or if the
radio shuts off, the batteries need to be
changed.
Use
1. Press the
ON/OFF
(3) button once to turn
on the radio.
2. Connect the headphones to the outlet (1) on
the top.
3. Press one of the
search
buttons (6)
• The frequency is adjusted up or down with
the buttons according to the arrows.
• Push any of the buttons for longer than one
second to activate
auto search
function.
The search stops when a strong signal is
received. Push any of the buttons for longer
than one second to activate search for a
new station.
4. Adjust desired sound level with the volume
control (2).
5. Set stereo or mono reception with the
STEREO/MONO
switch (4).
Preset setting
When your favourite radio stations have been
found, they can be saved in the memory and
activated with the buttons (10), up to five sta-
tions can be stored in the memory
• Set desired station with the
search
buttons
(6). See above.
• Do the following to save a station in the
memory: Push
SET
button.
PRESET
blinks
in the display. Push any of the preset
buttons (10) M1 – M5, the station is saved
in the memory and can be activated with
the same button.
Note:
Save the frequency when
PRESET
blinks, if no station has been saved wtihin
15 seconds reset the radio in normal mode
and the station will not be saved.
Listen to your saved stations
Press the preset button (10) which the station
was saved with and that station can be liste-
ned to.
Memory backup
When the batteries are low, the display starts
to blink or shuts off. Shut off the radio and
insert new batteries.
Note:
If the batteries are taken out more
than a minute the program may have to be
programmed again.
Key lock
Press the
LOCK
(8) button to activate the key
lock, a key is shown on the display when the
key lock is activated. All the buttons besides
ON/OFF
can not be operated in locked
position. Press the
LOCK
(8) button to
activate the key lock.
Note
• The radio starts automatically when the
batteries are inserted the first time.
• The cable to the headphones is used as
antenna. Use the cable’s entire length and
not rolled up.
• The quality of the reception depends on how
the headphone (antenna) cable is placed.
Try different positions until the reception is
good.
