Instructions for use
These ear defenders are designed to completely cover the wearer’s
ears for the purpose of reducing the amount of exposure to harmful
levels of noise. Always put on the ear defenders before exposing
yourself to noise and wear them at all times. The ear defenders
are of normal size in accordance with: EN352-1, designed to fit
the majority of wearers.
1. Any hair or earrings should be moved so as not to interfere
with the seal of the ear cup cushions against the head.
2. Extend the headband and place the cups over your ears.
3. Adjust the cups until they feel comfortable and are a snug fit.
4. If you wear glasses, make sure that the cushions form a tight
seal around the tips of the temples. A broken seal will allow
noise to leak in, reduce attenuation and negatively affect
the protection level.
5. The ear defenders can be affected by certain chemical
substances. This can have a negative effect on its protective
ability. Contact our customer services if you are unsure.
6. If some form of hygienic cover is used on the earcups this can
negatively affect its level of protection.
7. Never use the ear defenders if they have been damaged or
modified in any way.
8. Never use the ear defenders when driving a vehicle of any kind.
9. Remember to always remove the ear defenders in situations
requiring your full attention, so that you are able hear audible
warnings.

Warning:
Do not use the ear defenders together with respiratory
protection or a safety helmet. The ear defenders must be used
and adjusted only in the manner described in this instruction
manual, otherwise their effectiveness may be reduced. The ear
defenders must be used the entire time (100%) that you are
exposed to harmful levels of noise in order to reduce the risk
of hearing loss.
Impulse noise
The noise reduction measurements for these ear defenders are
based on testing for
continuous
noises and are not a correct
indication of their performance against impulse noises such as
artillery fire.
Calculation of noise reduction for
individual users
The specified attenuation values are based on laboratory testing.
These values cannot safely predict the level of protection afforded
in a specific environment. Always check your hearing regularly,
regardless of whether you use the ear defenders for private or
professional use.
Care and storage
• Clean/disinfect the ear defenders using a damp cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Never immerse the ear defenders in water or
other liquid.
• Check the ear defenders before use. They can become old
and worn and not provide adequate protection. The ear
defenders must be discarded if they are damaged in any way.
• Store the ear defenders in a clean, dry plastic bag when not
in use.

The product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
