Safety

-  Notice!

When installing a PCI card in an

available PCI slot it is

very important that

the computer is turned off and that the
power cable is unplugged.

Computer components are very sensitive
to static electricity. Use therefore an
antistatic wrist strap or similar product
when mounting or handling the card.

If you do not have an antistatic wrist
strap, divert your own static electricity by
touching the computer chassis before and
while you handle the card.

The card should be inserted evenly into the
PCI slot for correct mounting.

Secure the card to the chassis with screws
or other locking mechanism.
