MAINTENANCE

CHANGING THE CARBON BRUSHES

1. Remove the screw holding the 

brush cover in place.  

2. Remove the screw and washer 

holding the braid in place.

3. Hold back the spring assembly, 

and slide out the carbon brush.

4. Replace with the new brush 

supplied. 

5. Release the spring assembly and 

secure the braid with the screw 
remove in step 2.

6. Repeat on the other side of the 

body. Both brushes must be 
replaced at the same time

CLEANING

• To maintain the best possible performance from your angle grinder, 

it must be kept clean.

• To reduce fire hazard, keep the cooling vents free of debris.

• Clean the area around the spindle and mounting washer and keep 

the threaded locking washer clean.
