Operating Your Truck

Coast Control (Optional - HWXE)

Coast Buttons

CAUTION

The electromagnetic brake is deactivated when the coast

control function is in use.

NOTE

When the Coast Control function is activated, the red alarm

light (LED) on the dash display will flash continuously. This

indicates that coast is active and the brake is OFF.

Coast control deactivates the electromagnetic brake and enables the truck

to be "jogged" with the travel control and coasted for order picking. It is not

necessary to move the control handle from the vertical position.

•

Activate Coast Control:

press both of the coast buttons at the

same time and hold for two (2) seconds. The dash display alarm

light will start flashing.

•

Deactivate Coast Control:

place the control arm in the vertical

position and twist the directional control in the FORWARD direc-

tion. Hold both coast buttons for two (2) seconds. The dash display

alarm light will turn OFF.
