Front panel
The front panel of the
CITELlink
SIP Handset Gateway has 20 LEDs and 3 connectors. Their
functions are explained below.
LEDs
The LEDs consist of 4 status indicators and 24 channel indicators as shown in Figure 16
below. Some LEDs have four states: on, off, flashing 1/5
th
on or flashing 4/5
th
on.

The LEDs functions differ in each mode of operation - as explained in the following
paragraphs.
Normal operating mode
During normal operation of the Gateway, the LED indications are as follows:

System Power
On = power input is normal
Off = system power supply has failed
Gateway Status
Flashing = unit is functioning correctly
Off = unit has failed
Service Required
On = seek service assistance (unless loading software)
Off = unit is operating normally
Handset Power
On = telephone power is ok
Off = telephone power has failed
1 to 24
Channels
On = telephone connected and correctly assigned
Off = no telepho ne connected – check wiring
