Backing Up the Configuration or Saving a Session

To abandon a previously applied configuration and restart in initial setup
mode, click the
Restore / Load Session
link. Choose
New Configuration
,
and then click
Restore / Load
.
Backing Up the Configuration or Saving a Session
To save your session, click the
Backup / Save Session
link at the top of the page.
Then choose one of the options described below.
NOTE
In this process, you are not applying the configuration to the devices, but are saving
files that you can work from in future sessions, if needed.

Save Session to Device:
Choose this option to save the current unapplied
configuration as a file on the UC 320W. Enter a Description, and then click
Backup/Save Session
. You can restore this session by using the Restore /
Load Session link.

Save Session to File:
Choose this option to save the current unapplied
configuration as a file on your PC. Click
Backup/Save Session
. When the
Selection location for download
window appears, choose a location for
this file on your PC. You can restore this session by using the Restore / Load
Session link.

Save Full Site Backup:
Choose this option to save a full system snapshot of
your Unified Communications system, including all settings. Click
Backup/
Save Session
. When the
Selection location for download
window
appears, choose a location for this file on your PC. To restore this session,
use the Restore / Load Session link. You also can use this file to quickly
configure another UC 320W device with the same settings.
NOTE
License files are unique to each device and are not backed up, nor are
they erased during a factory reset.
