DLP-H28 Disable Proxy Service Using Netscape (Windows)

Step 1

Open Netscape.

Step 2

From the Edit menu, choose

Preferences

.

Step 3

In the Preferences dialog box under Category, choose

Advanced > Proxies

.

Step 4

On the right side of the Preferences dialog box under Proxies, perform one of the following options:

•

Choose

Direct connection to the Internet

to bypass the proxy server.

•

Choose

Manual proxy configuration

to add exceptions to the proxy server, then click

View

. In the

Manual Proxy Configuration dialog box under Exceptions, enter the IP addresses of the ONS
15310-MA SDH nodes that you will access. Separate each address with a comma. Click

OK

to close

each open dialog box.

Step 5

Return to your originating procedure (NTP).

You must perform this task if your computer is connected to a network computer proxy server and your
browser is Mozilla Firefox.

From the Tools menu, choose

In the Connection Settings dialog box, perform one of the following options, as applicable:

Choose the

No Proxy

radio button to disable the proxy service.

Purpose

This task disables proxy service for Windows PCs running Netscape.
