clear rep counters

To clear Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP) counters for the specified interface or all interfaces, use the

clear rep counters

command in privileged EXEC mode.

clear rep counters

Syntax Description

Defaults

No default is defined.

Command Modes

Privileged EXEC

Command History

Usage Guidelines

You can clear all REP counters by using the

clear rep counters

command, or you can clear only the

counters for the interface by using the

clear rep counters interface

interface-id

command.

When you enter the

clear rep counters

command, only the counters visible in the output of the

show

interface rep detail

command are cleared. SNMP visible counters are not cleared as they are read-only.

You can verify that REP information was deleted by entering the

show interfaces rep detail

privileged

EXEC command.

Examples

This example shows how to clear all REP counters for all REP interfaces:
