Wiring the DC Input Power Source

Connect the AC Power Cord between adapter and power source (see Figure 3-3).

Before you wire the DC input power source, review these warnings and the information:
Warning
A readily accessible two-poled disconnect device must be incorporated in the fixed wiring.
Statement 1022
Warning
Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to install, replace, or service this
equipment.
Statement 1030
Caution
The ME1200-4S-D DC input power voltage should be within -20.5 to -72 VDC. If the supply voltage is
not in this range, the switch might not operate properly or might be damaged.
Step 1
Using a wire-stripping tool, strip each of the wires coming from the DC input power source to 0.350 inch (8.9
mm) ± 0.02 inch (0.5 mm).
