Chapter 3 Setup

Advanced Routing

This screen is used to set up the Gateway’s advanced routing functions. Static
Routing sets up a fixed route to another network destination.

Path:

Setup > Advanced Routing

Routing Table

For each route, the Destination LAN IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and Metric
are displayed. In the Action column, click

Delete

to delete a static route.

Default Interface

—The default Layer 3 connection is displayed.

Default Gateway

—The default next-hop gateway of the default interface is

displayed.

Default Connection

—This advanced setting usually indicates the default connection

since the Gateway supports multiple WAN connections. If the Gateway has multiple
connections, specify which one is the default.
