How Do I Configure the Wireless Home Gateway?
Saving Your Configuration
Use the Setup Basic Settings - Save RG Configuration to Local PC page to save your
current cable modem RG configuration to the hard drive on your PC or to a floppy
disk. You will then be able to restore the RG configuration, if necessary.
Note:
If you are not familiar with the procedures detailed in this section, contact
your cable service provider before you attempt to change any of the wireless home
gateway default settings.
Click
Save Configuration to your PC
in the Basic Settings section of the Setup page
to access the Setup Basic Settings - Save RG Configuration to Local PC page.

Example
The following illustration is an example of the Setup Basic Settings - Save RG
Configuration to Local PC page.
To
Save
your current setting to your computer, click the floppy disk icon in the
lower portion of the screen. You will be prompted to provide a file name and
location for the backup configuration file.
To
Restore
your setting, click
Browse
and select the backup configuration file name
that you saved on your PC. The path and filename of the backup configuration
appears in the File Name field. Then, click
Download
to restore your configuration
file. A
Download Success
message appears when the restore is complete.
