To configure a T3 controller and enter T3 configuration mode, use the
controller t3
command in global
configuration mode. To return to the default state, use the
no
form of this command.

Syntax Description

show controllers
command to see a list of all controllers currently
configured on the router.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.

argument, use the following guidelines:

When specifying a T3 controller, the naming notation is

. The slash between
values is required as part of the notation. An explanation of each component of the naming notation is
as follows:

Chassis number of the rack.
◦
slot
—
Physical slot number of the line card or SIP.
◦
module
—
Module number or subslot (for a SPA). A physical layer interface module (PLIM) is
always 0.
◦
port
—
Physical port number of the interface.
◦
T3num
—
T3 controller number.
