framing (E1)
To select the frame type for an E1 data line, use the
framing
command in E1 configuration mode. To disable
E1 framing, use the
no
form of this command.

Syntax Description
Specifies framing with CRC-4 error-monitoring capabilities. The default is
crc4.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
Use the
framing
command in configurations in which the router or access server is intended to communicate
with E1 fractional data lines. The service provider determines the framing type required for your E1 circuit.
