Add Handsets to the Base Station

You need to configure the handsets on the base station so that they can connect and communicate.

You can add and register handsets one at a time, or you can set up multiple handsets.

• Single handset setup: At the end of this procedure, the base station has the information about the handset

set up, but the handset is not registered to the base station and able to make calls.

• Multiple handset setup: At the end of this procedure, the base station is set up, but you need to complete

user-specific configuration to assign the handset to the correct person.
