Binning Mode

Binning function is applicable at each TAP Mode.

2 modes; 2x2 binning and 4x4 binning
）

This mode is valid only at Horizontal 2560pixel Mode while Vertical Partial is set to OFF.
¾
HDR function cannot be used at the same time.

2x2 binning
・
Two-by-two pixels are mixed and output as 1 pixel. Improvement in S/N is expected.

Effective resolution
：
1280pixel(H) x *1024line(V)
・
Since output is set to one fourth (1/4) after pixel mixture, the luminosity does not rise.
・
Time for 1 line is same as the one at Horizontal pixel 2560pixels of each TAP mode.
・
However, since the Vertical effective lines are set to one half (1/2), frame rate rises and exposure
time is also set to one half (1/2).

Not applicable
in conjunction with Horizontal and Vertical Partial.

4x4 binning
・
Four-by-four pixels are mixed and output as 1 pixel. Improvement in S/N is expected.

Since output is set to one sixteenth (1/16) after pixel mixture, the luminosity does not rise.
