External authentication
enables authenticating on the concentrator’s web site through an exter-
nal server, which simplifies user management for the concentrators.
Mixed authentication is used in cases where the concentrator does not have access to the ex-
ternal server used by internal users. For the users to have write permission, the authorisation
process will have to have “service=exec”.

IpTacacs1: IP of server 1 .

IpTacacs2:
IP of server 2 .

AuthRetry:
Authentication retries number.

AuthRetryInterval:
Tme between retries, in seconds.


In this section you can configure the following setup parameters for the SNMP:

SnmpVersion: Version of the SNMP.

SnmpPublic: Read-only commdevicey of the SNMP server (v1 and v2 only).

SnmpPrivate: Read and write commdevicey of the SNMP server (v1 and v2 only).

SnmpUser: SNMP username (v3 only).

SnmpPassword:
SNMP password, minimum 8 characters (v3 only).

TrapAdress:
Address for sending the SNMP traps.

TrapCommdevicey:
Commdevicey of the SNMP traps (v1 and v2 only).
The concentrator's SNMP agent can read OIDs defined in the MIB-2 (RFC 1213) and in the HOST_RE-
SOURCES_MIB (RFC 2790). The status of the PLC network can also be read through Circutor 's MIBs.
It is also possible to configure where the concentrator traps will be sent; they can be generic traps or
concentrator events.
