Instruction Manual
3 - OPERATION OF THE METER
This section describes the performance of the device from a functional point of view; that is, it explains
how to manage all the information it provides, as well as how to configure the system's various fea-
tures.
31 - NAVIGATION AND DISPLAY MODES
The read button will be used to navigate through the different information screens. Navigating within
the same level is done by using short presses. To move to a lower level, use a long press. The device
will return to standby mode 60 seconds after the last button press.
311 - STANDBY MODE
The device is in this mode by default, as long as the buttons are not pressed.
The purpose of the standby screens is to display information cyclically, without having to perform any
action on the meter. This type of navigation is exclusive to standby mode.
The Scroll line will alternate the information every 6 seconds. A short press of the read button will
freeze the display on the totalizer reading that is being shown at that moment.
Use short clicks to move manually through all the totalizer readings. On devices set up as a simple
active tariff, the standby screen will only show the active totalizer.
312 - READ MODE
Activated with a long press of the read button. Navigation within the same level will be cyclical.
This mode uses a display-tree structure arranged into three levels, which are used to access the in-
formation.
The different information that can be shown on the display in Read Mode is accessed by either long or
short presses of the Read button.
32 - DEFINITION OF SCREENS
By short pulsations it will display the different defined screens. The screens that can be shown on the
scrolling display can be configured by the user. The maximum allowed parameters are 16 variables.
321- MENU LIST
Staying on the cyclical display and making a long keystroke (more than 2 seconds) on the meter but-
ton it will show the meter menu list. On that screen different values can be shown like instant values,
alarms, bill closure information, pulse LED selection, version and CRC.
