NEON-FLEX
Step 1: Measure area where NEON-FLEX will be installed.
Step 2: install mounting track or clips as required; secure
with proper screws for material that track is being
mounted to (wood, concrete, metal etc.)
Step 3: Measure and cut NEON-FLEX extrusion to length.
NOTE**
NEON-FLEX can only be cut at the cut marks stenciled
on the side of the product. Cutting elsewhere will
cause sections of the NEON-FLEX to not light properly.
NEON-FLEX colors RED, ORANGE & YELLOW are marked
and can be cut in 2.5-foot(120v) & 4”(24v) increments.
BLUE, GREEN, WHITE
& RGB colors are marked and can be cut in 1.5 foot
(120v) & 3” (24v) increments.
Step 4: Note which end of extrusion power cord will go on. 2/4 con-
nection holes on end of extrusion will match 2/4 holes on power
cord end cap (see drawing). Start at one end and
start pushing base of extrusion into mounted track, leaving about
1”-1.5” on each end for end cap and power cord cap.
Step 5: Place male pin connector into end of extrusion power cord will
go on (pointed pins goes into extrusion rounded pins into power
cord. Place power cord onto male pin connector and plug into a
GFI
110v/120v outlet. Surge Protection is recommended.
AVOID EXCESSIVE FLEXING
& TWISTING OF PRODUCT-Surge Protection is recommended.
NOTE** VERY IMPORTANT!! WARRANTY VOID!!
For all outdoor installations or installations where
moisture may be possible; all end caps, power cord
caps, and all splice connections
MUST
be sealed
water-tight with outdoor waterproof silicone adhesive.
(Most silicones take 24hrs to fully cure so we recom-
mend checking all connections after installation
periodically.
Water/moisture will cause failures.
Water/Moisture intrusion is NOT covered under
Warranty.
We recommend using
PVC glue to attach end caps and power cord caps and
then sealing edges with silicone then use provided
shrink tubing and silicone edges of that after heating.
For all splice connections you must put silicone
on both sides of the connection and allow 24hrs for full cure.
