4.13 Changing the motherboard
CIARA does not allow end users to change the motherboard. Any such change will void your warranty. All end users needing to
change the motherboard need to contact the CIARA service department and place a service call.
For those end users who have a system out of warranty, here are the instructions as to how to change the motherboard
.
1- Open the casing. See section 1.6.2
2- Remove the fan, the heatsink and the processor.
See section 1.6.3
3- Remove the memory.
See section 1,6.4
4- Remove the SATA and/or M.2 SSD.
See section 1.6.5
5- Remove the WiFi module.
See section 1.6.6
6- Remove the power button and LED circuit.
7- Unscrew the six screws and remove the
motherboard.
8- To install a new motherboard, proceed in the reverse
order.
