Next
button.
22. In the
Camera Settings
, select
Reference usage
in the
Camera parameter
folder.
23. Set the checkmark in the
Activate white level correction
box.
24. Select the white reference data set (1 to 4).
25. Save the settings in the non-volatile memory of the camera.
The shading (flat field) correction is now activated, and the video value of all pixels should
be at approx. 245, like the target value.
6.15 Starting first 3D calculations
The camera is commissioned (see chapter 6.1, p. 50).
1. Plug the software protection dongle (silver USB stick) into a USB slot of your PC.
2. Make sure the object is in the best focus plane of the camera.
3. Acquire a well illuminated raw image with texture.
With the 3DPIXA dual camera 2 raw images are required.
The image(s) should have the following properties:
– 24 bit (bitmap format)
– 7296 pixels image width
Do not start 3D calculations before you have acquired a good image.
4. Plug the orange USB stick into a USB slot of your PC.
5. Start the
cs-3d-setup-vX.X.exe
program in the 3D folder.
6. Install the 3D-Viewer software on the PC.
7. Open the 3D-Viewer.
8. Load the configuration from the camera.
The configuration can be loaded either via the 3D-Viewer (see 3D-Viewer manual)
or by copying the calibration files:
– On the orange USB stick open the folder
3D > CalibrationFiles
.
– Copy the calibration files
config.ini
and
calibration.ini
on the PC, preferably in the
folder where the raw images will be saved.
9. Do the first 3D calculation as described in the
Getting started
chapter of the 3D-Viewer
manual.
