Setting camera parameters for the 3DPIXA dual camera
For the 3DPIXA dual camera the timing and triggering parameters must be set only for the
master camera. The behavior of the slave camera is determined by the timing and trigger
parameters of the master camera. The set parameters for timing and triggering of the slave
camera are ignored.
Overview of the settings which only have to be defined for the master camera:
Simple setup view
– Image parameters
- Frame start (triggered frame scan)
– Timing
- Integration time
- Line period
Encoder setup
– Enable encoder
I/O configurator
The values for image start delay and image height must be set identically for the master
camera and the slave camera.
White balancing (see chapter 6.12, p. 68) and shading reference (see chapter 6.13, p. 76
and chapter 6.14, p. 77) have to be performed separately.
The parameters not mentioned in this chapter have to be set identically for both cameras.
This can be done with two CST applications, which are opened at the same time.
