Installing the touch panel (optional)

Learn how to install the optional touch panel control (TPC) and connect the required harnesses for

communication with the projector.

1. To secure the ball arm, fasten with the four screws.

Torque to 20in-lb.

2. Install the TPC arm onto the ball arm.
3. Install the touch screen monitor onto the TPC arm.
4. Connect the touch screen monitor communication harness.

Projector power modes

The Cinema 2K-RGB projectors track laser operation hours for the laser optical subsystem (LOS).
The projector operates with the following power modes:

Mode

Description

Projector on

• C electronics and light engine are on

• Laser optical subsystem (LOS) is off

• IMB is on

Light source on

• C electronics and light engine are on

• LOS is on

• Fans run at full speed

• IMB is on

Standby

• C electronics remain on standby with the light engine off

• Fans and LOS are off

• IMB is off—IMB automation does not function

IMB powered in Standby

• Turns on the IMB

• Increases the air flow inside the projector to cool the card cage electronics
