Chapter 3. Repair
This chapter details all corrective maintenance operations, authorised by CHOPIN, that can be carried out on
the Mixolab (some of these instructions are in particular called out from chapter
2 "Troubleshooting" ).
Spare parts and sub-assemblies shall be selected from the illustrated parts lists of chapter 4 "Spare parts" .
1. Introduction
1.1 Warnings
The power can be switched back ON, only once the unit is
closed, all internal parts being re-installed and re-connected.
Note : An exception should be made for some checks (e.g. voltage
checks) as long as all safety precautions have been taken.
In particular:
❏
repair operations should be carried out in a clean and dry envi-
ronment, with a complete set of standard tools, in addition to the
mentioned special tooling,
❏
repair operations should be carried out with care, by competent
personnel, with adequate qualification (see table below),
❏
the only authorised repair operations are those included in this
manual,
❏
use only spare parts and sub-assemblies listed in 4 issued from
the original manufacturer,
❏
each procedure shall be entirely followed (in particular with men-
tioned tests and checks), and the repair operation carefully
recorded.
1.2 List of instructions
The table below lists all corrective maintenance operations that are
detailed in this chapter.
In addition, this list reminds for each procedure:

particular ingredients to be used,
❏
specific tools required,
Any intervention needing to open the
Mixolab requires to first switch the
power OFF,
mains cable discon-
nected .
In order to prevent any damage on
the Mixolab,
carefully follow instruc-
tions of this manual.
